Mr. Chuckles a highly evolved, intelligent cat living in Southern California, and the purveyor of www.thewisecat.com. He came to be with his current family when he was a scant 4 weeks old. He was quite the rabble rouser back then and he wreaked utter havoc on his first human "companion". When said companion could take no more of his antics, he placed Mr. Chuckles up for adoption on Craigslist. After a brief stay with a relative of his current family (who also could not handle his unruly behavior), he wound up in his current home. Things could not be better for Mr. Chuckles.
Due to his troubled youth, and the moving around he did at a very young age, Mr. Chuckles is unsure of his breed. His size and behavior have his human companions convinced that he has some Maine Coon and/or Norwegian Forest Cat in him. They have discussed having a genetic test done on him to determine exactly what breed he his. For his part, Mr. Chuckles remains indifferent to the idea, and frankly, could not care less. Rather, what matters to him is living within each moment, and staying true to his spirit of independence. By human standards, he is independent to a fault, for which he makes no apologies and feels no guilt. By cat standards, his personality is gregarious and outgoing. He often enjoys the company of humans more than he does that of other animals, although he seems to have a liking for dogs, and one of his best friends is an Apricot Poodle. In many ways, he is genuinely unlike most other cats. He likes having water flicked in his face (if you rub it on the top of his head it calms him down), he enjoys riding in the car and will sleep on the driver's lap, he likes going to Petco and walking around on a leash, and he likes to jump into people's crossed arms and hug them. He is as sociable and friendly a cat as you will ever encounter.
It is the aim of the Wise Cat to deliver knowledge and wisdom to humankind, some of which Mr. Chuckles has learned over the years, and much of which comes from some of the sharpest minds the world has ever known.
